It’s summertime and I don’t know about you, but I sure do a lot more moving around with exercising and biking and swimming. I love doing all of those and lots more, too. In fact, if I feel like going out for a run, I go out for a run even during a warm rain, being careful to avoid any slippery spots along the way.
But after I get back, and especially at night, sometimes my muscles let me know I’ve done too much and my body begs to let my Magic Wand do its magic. Yes, there are times I’ve done too many butterfly strokes in the lake and afterwards, the center of my shoulder blades are pulsing with tightness. But you know what? I’ve figured out a way to use my Magic Wand on my shoulder blades that is easy to do: simply put a pillow against your bed backboard (or against the back of a firm chair), turn your Magic Wand on low (that’s my favorite setting for treating my muscle soreness), pin your Magic Wand between it and your body, and then lean back on it (warning: just be sure not to cover it completely, or it might overheat!). The vibrations from the firm head will penetrate even the tightest muscles, all while being used hands free so I don’t have to get into any awkward positions. You can easily raise it or lower it against your back for it to get to the right spot. Aaaaahhhh, right there.
And speaking of summertime, sometimes I’ll wear sandals all day that while they look good, leave the bottom of my feet aching. Guess what? Yep. I use my trusted Magic Wand on my bare feet too and does that feel great! I roll the head right in the arch of my feet and push against my soles. I also use it up on the ball of my foot for extra massaging. I top it all off by using the head of my Magic Wand on either side of my Achilles heel for the total foot massage. It feels really great and I bet Achilles would have loved the Magic Wand had it been around in his day. And electricity, too, for that matter!
So plug in your Magic Wand and embrace its use in the summer. Not sure where to get one? Get one right here and the pleasures of summertime will be yours, too.
